A Rusty Blackbird and a Few Warblers

I didn't have a lot of time today, but I managed a short visit to Forest Lawn right after a business meeting. And I wasn't disappointed I did!
A single Rusty Blackbird was poking around in the grassy area near Mirror Lake. There were a few Common Grackles nearby so this made for a nice comparison study. I particularly noted the smaller, pointy bill of the Rusty as compared to the heavier bills of the grackles.
Closer to the water, a couple of warblers were darting about. There were several Yellow-rumped and one Palm. I did a brief visit to the ridge and found a lovely Blue-headed Vireo, my first of the year! They sure are gorgeous!
