Chirps and Cheeps

I finally got a chance to capture a few photos of a male Northern Flicker (yellow shafted) a few days ago. Usually, it's only the female that comes around. I've yet to entice them to our bark butter - which was the entire reason I bought it - but I've begun to see a male coming to the back feeders lately. Maybe they'll get brave enough to try the bark butter one of these days!
