Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! We had a very busy weekend here and birding was at a minimum.  BUT I did manage to do a little window birding in-between all the cooking, baking, cleaning, online shopping, and babysitting!

Pine Siskins continue to show up every day, increasing in numbers.  The company is up to around 30 now! The buzz / zippzzzzzzeee sound is quite prevalent! Oh, and did you know that Pine Siskins are attracted to salt? They'll eat at salt licks and even will go to the salt found on winter roadways. I don't have a salt lick here but I wonder if other birds would like it and if it's a good thing to put up?

Below are some of the photos I captured over the last few days...
