It's been crazy busy work and family-wise lately and coupled with hot, hot, humid weather, I haven't gotten out birding much at all. But today, I finally had a day to myself with no obligations - BUT it was rainy! Aarrghhh! So, why let that stop me? I set up my tripod in the house, opened a window and started practicing with my camera on our regular feeder birds. I was even rewarded with a Northern Flicker who came by!
